Hello,
@Olivier The RecurrenceParentID is used only if you have an exception appointment since this appointment needs to be referred to the master appointment. The exception appointment is stored in the data base just like any other appointment but it has RecurrenceParentID value. If you reset the master appointment's exceptions all exception appointments from the data base will be removed and the master appointment's recurrence rule will be modified as well.
Please find more information about Working with Recurring Appointment.
@Tony As I mentioned earlier the RecurrenceParentID is used only in cases of recurrence appointments. Could you please explain a bit more about your scenario and the specific case?

Hello Boyan
I understand your explain :
In first, if i check your web link : http://www.telerik.com/forums/Working%20with%20Recurring%20Appointments
the webpage is blank (Empty)
Second : For my first sample : i put Null in Reccurence ID and Null in Recurrence is null so.
We have a error, when we want to delete the record, and he says , they don't find Zero in Recurrence_parent_id.
i don't know why ?
Can you help us ?

Hello,
I would like to apologize for the broken link. Please find Working with recurring appointments the correct one.
Unfortunately I am still not able to understand the problem. By default if you create a non-recurring appointment both fields RecurrenceParentID and Recurrence will be set to null. Please check if for some reason the data table column RecurrenceParentID does not accept null values and by default it stores "0". This column should accept null values.
