I would like to just update this now to see if it will assist people in helping!!
I have surrounded by rating control with <br/> and notice that in IE I can see the top left corner of the first star of my rating - i can see no more of it. If i hover, i can see a tool-tip to confirm it is star 1. If I move the cursor right, i get no more stars or tool tips.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello Iain,
I tried reproducing the described issue, but to no avail. You can find attached my sample project, implementing the described scenario. Please compare it with your actual project and check if there are differences in the setup or if I have misunderstood something in your scenario.
It is possible that the RadRating isn't shown because of custom style sheets that interfere with the correct display of the control. I would suggest verifying if there is CSS that hides the rating, included on your page.
Note that at the current circumstances I am mostly guessing as to what your setup is and if you are still unable to resolve your problems please provide a more detailed description of your setup so that we can suggest a specific answer.
All the best,
Slav

Hi Slav,
Thanks for your reply and sample project.
I have had a good look through and found that you are indeed correct. There was an element in our CSS that was interfering with the control.
I have taken steps to remedy that, and now the control display and works perfectly.
Many thanks
Iain

Would you tell me what stylesheet element you removed to get your rad rating control to display? I am having the same issue. I have tried making changes to my css, but nothing has helped. The demo attached to this issue works fine for me.

Hi Chris,
Could you, please, provide a sample setup or better a sample runnable page or a project so that we can investigate in details your concrete case? It so that more often than never the problem that interferes with the correct behavior of the control could be a specific setup. For that your best option would be to open a support ticket adding the attachment there.
Looking forward to your sample code and comments.
