I am using the RadUpload Prometheus controls in a multiview control. I configured the skin to be Office2007 and I am getting two undesirable results.

First and foremost, How do I get rid of the black squares on the left side of the control? and second, how can I change the border color to be nothing, or at the very least, the same color as the background. the border-color argument is overwritten by the skin cssclass.

Thank you,

John

Hello,

I am not sure what may be the reason for experiencing black squares on the left side of the RadUpload. Do you receive any javascript errors? If  javascript errors occur on the page they may confuse the proper functioning of the RadUpload control. Please, make sure that you have added the ASP.NET AJAX Configuration Elements in your Web.config file.

ASP.NET Ajax Framework on which all Telerik's Prometheus controls are based needs some additional settings in the Web.config file more detailed information about which you can find here. For your convenience I have attached a Web.config file and a sample page which demonstrates how to use RadUpload in MultiView. In the example the skin which is set to RadUpload is the one you use - Office2007.

As far as it is concerned to changing the border color you can use the .ruInputs css class and set the desired border and background color. In the attached sample they are set to white.

In case the above suggestions cannot help you solve he problem, please, send us your application so that we can test it locally, research the problem and do our best to help you.

All the best,

Thanks for the helping hand on the skinning issue Sophy. That really helped me out.

I am still getting the squares on the left and there are no script errors on the page. I would like to send you an email containing what is actually rendered and some of my code as a sample for you to work with. I don't know if this helps, but I am running Version 2007.3.1314.35 for the 3.5 Framework (I suppose thats what the .35 in the version number is for).
So where do I send the code?

Oh, and on one final note, this is a DotNetNuke project using C# 3.0, VS2008 Professional, Silverlight, XLINQ, REST, and AJAX.

Thanks in advance,

John
