Are there any reasons to choose RadToolbar over RadMenu when I want a toolbar on the page?  I have many pages that were built using RadMenu as a toolbar, and I am considering the benefits of replacing it with RadToolbar.

It all depends on the specific functionality which you would like to preserve. My suggestion is to first review the online examples of the new RadToolbar for ASP.NET AJAX and get familiar with all the newly introduced features and then decide if you want to replace RadMenu with RadToolbar.
