RadSpell red line on errors

Hi,

 I have an asp:textbox and I wanted to display red lines under incorrect words.

I try to use telerik RadSpell in hebrew but I get spelling only on button click and it's not display the red lines.

I use Internet Explorer so I don't have red lines in default.

 How can I do it?

Hello Elad,

The red, curly underlines can be rendered only from the browser. RadSpell provides only an on-click spell checking.

Therefore, if you need spell check while typing in a text-box, this can be only provided via browser add-on (e.g., https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2764916), not from a widget or control in a web application.

It's a problemt because I need to force the users to enable this add-on in explorer...

If you need to ensure that users submit spell-checked content, you can implement a validation integration with RadSpell. Just like it is demonstrated in this demo—http://demos.telerik.com/aspnet-ajax/spell/examples/spellcheckvalidator/defaultcs.aspx?product=spell.
