It is strange if this property shows different results in IE and Firefox. The usual case is that this property should have same values in both browsers. Still it may depend on the moment it is being read.
Please, check if the property has different values in IE and Firefox. If that is the case, please, open a support ticket with a sample project demonstrating the irregular behavior.
