Radgrid with Ajax toolkit extender

Hello,
I have a radgrids with a details view that has a usercontrol with an ajax toolkit extender in it.  According to your help:
"RadGrid supports ASP.NET AJAX Toolkit Extender controls too.

There is known limitation when Grid's AJAX is turned on (EnableAJAX='true') though: if the extender controls are initially invisible, their scripts are not available for the Grid. This could be the case when extender controls are added into a Grid edit form - once the users open the edit form, those extender controls won't work for AJAX-enabled Grid. The solution is to enable outside scripts of Grid (set EnableOutsideScripts to 'true')."

This help topic describes my scenario however, the radgrid doesn't have an enableoutsidescripts property so maybe the help is outdated.  What is the current solution to this problem?  By the way, I'm am using the latest version of Prometheus .  Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello Michael,

This is related to the classic version of RadGrid - the "Prometheus" grid does not have any native ajax and you can use RadAjaxManager to ajaxify the grid.

Hi Vlad,
Thanks for your reply.  I am using Prometheus so I wanted to give you some more information on the error I am receiving.  The error happens when I have a control that is an ajax toolkit extender inside my details radgrid.  When I click on "New" or "Edit" which displays the details radgrid, I get an exception.  I am using a RadAjaxManager for the ajax.  My radgrids are inside a usercontrol so I have a RadAjaxManagerProxy on my usercontrol page.  When I get rid of the radAjaxManager, the code works with no errors.  Also, if I leave the radAjaxManager but comment out the code that contains the toolkit extender, the radgrid works fine.  So something with the combination of the radAjaxManager and the ajaxtoolkit seems to be causing the problem.  I'd really appreciate any help you can give on this. The details of the exception are below.
