Hello,
I am seeing a weird summation error when using multiple group columns. Please refer to this screenshot.
Note the final subtotal row which says Count:4 and then throws out some random numbers. Also note that the last column of this row shows a number that matches the last data row of the second group.
This is proving incredibly confusing for my client (and myself as well)!
I appreciate any insight to fix or remove this problem!
Thanks,
Joseph

I forgot to mention, this is using 2008.02.0723.35 .NET AJAX on a Windows 2008 Server with ASP.NET 3.5 SP 1.

Bump.
It worries me that there are so many errors and questions that my one day old question gets bumped to page 3 without any responses.

Thanks for confirming this error. Is there at least a way to supress the extra total line? or overwrite it with a template or something? or overwrite all the total lines with my own template?

Hello Joseph Wong,
You may review the Calculated column with total in footer code library for more details about how to manually implement similar functionality.
Once again please excuse us for the inconvenience.

I noticed the 10/2 release still has this problem. Any idea when this is going to be fixed?
Thanks,
Joseph

Can we raise the priority again on this? I find it hard to believe that I am the only one that needs subtotal numbers to add correctly.

Hello Joseph,
Our developers are aware of this behavior and it is with high priority. Unfortunately we are still unable to find best possible solution in solving it.
We are constantly working on improving RadGrid functionality and applying best practices while implementing all its features. Hopefully this will be resolved as soon as possible.

You guys are great and for the most part I like your product. However, as the year anniversary of me putting in this bug approaches, I find it increasingly difficult to not dump your grid for one that actually adds correctly.
Please tell me how many people I have to get to complain that your grid doesn't add correctly before this item is addressed?

Hello Joseph,
Indeed the priority of this task is high and our developers are working on implementing proper solution.
You can try downloading latest internal build of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX from your account and see that there is already progress in solving this behavior of RadGrid.
