i am trying RadGrid on SP2010.
I added the Webpart to a page and it looks good.
Accessing the page with a standard user he gets Access denied?!
After removing the part he couls use the page again.
I would like to have at less rights as possible in that area for the users. Which permissions are required to access the radgrid.
P.S. is able to access the list displayed in the grid and also to view, add and edit items over there.
Best regards
Christof

Stand by for the upcoming service pack - the issue should have been fixed there.

That would be the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Q1 2011 SP2 release which is expected to come out by the end of the day. The Telerik SharePoint Acceleration Kit will be updated with new versions of the AJAX/Silverlight controls for the Q2 2011 release in mid summer.

could i do just an update of the radgrid or do i have to wait for the SAK-SP?

You can upgrade your SharePoint 2010 AJAX web parts using the bits from the Q1 2011 SP2 release (see the announcement here). So far the Telerik SharePoint Acceleration Kit will be updated on major releases only, i.e. once in four months.

or alternatively the option to just update the radgrid.
Current i do have just the option to install the complete rad Ajax package or to wait for the sharepoint CTP Update.
Unfortunately currently there is no other workaround to eliminate the access deny error than to migrate to the recent Q1 2011 SP2 of our AJAX SharePoint 2010 bundle (either using the provided MSI or zip package). Alternatively, you can stand by for the new release of the Telerik SAK, expected in mid July.
