RADFileExplorer Item selection

I'm evaluating RadFileExplorer as an alone component. There is a way to select an Item server side? Or js?
I've found only the possibility to set:
Configuration.ViewPaths and InitialPath.

Hi minorello,

At present the InitialPath property implementation allows for initial selection of a folder only (not a file).
We added this to our TODO to allow for a file to be specified as well.
We are currently working on adding the missing features to the RadFileExplorer so that it can be released as a stand-alone (non-beta) control in the Telerik RadControls suite.
