Hi,
I have downloaded the RadEditor Lite Version for Sharepoint Server 2007. I followed the steps on how to install and deploy the wsp file. I see its features on my web sites and made it activated. This behaviour works on my local PC or Virtual PC. I implemented the same steps to our DEV environment which is our testing place. Unfortunately, it doesn't work there. I already perform IIS reset and stop/start of our application pool.
I don't know if there are any security issues working around here. Can you help me on this and please provide any solutions or alternatives for this features to work?

Hi Jim,
What I suggest is to first go to the form where the editor should be visible. From that page, go to site settings and then site features and then check if the features are active. It is important to be on the form page with the editor, since sometimes the form is in a different site.
Next, check if the following file is present on the server:
\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\CONTROLTEMPLATES\RadEditorList.ascx
If the editor features are activated successfully, the file should be there. If it is not, then the feature was not activated successfully. Check if the account you used to activate the features has administrative privileges. You need to activate the features with an administrator account .
Finally, if you still cannot see the editor, then perhaps there is something wrong with the installation. In this case I suggest that you retract and re-deploy the RadEditor solution and check the steps above.

The RadEditor toolbar now displays for IE and non-IE browsers. Thank you so much for your suggestions and indeed the best resolution for this problem. Keep up the good work and your tool is of great help.

Hi,

One issue I have encountered while using the RadEditor is that on the Discussion Board list for MOSS, when I click the reply button, the post page is displayed with the RadEditor tool but the the history (in text) is missing. Does this has something to do with how the tool renders itself in Firefox?
This is the only issue I am encountering as of now and any suggestion would be highly appreciated. By the way, please see below the HTML text (in red) that is missing in Firefox:
