Hello,  I've been trying to get the editor to work in a DNN module. I can get it to work fine using the default look and feel, but in order to use a "theme"  for the skin, it requires the name of the Theme in the @Page directive of the page... this being a module, there is no @page tag, which means that the editor control can not see the skin I created...

I see references to a DNN provider but I am unable to find it anyware to download...  Can someone point me in the direction of the provider?

Thanks!

Matt

Hello Matt,

Log into your Telerik account, go to the Free trials page and expand the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX panel. You should see a "DNN Modules" download link. The editor provider is part of the modules installation. Follow the installation instructions in our online help - http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/dnn-radeditor-provider.html and you should be set.

Lini,

One more quick question.. We have the registered ver of ASP.NET AJAX Q1 2008 installed.. if I import these trial packages for the DNN provider, is it going to kill our full version?

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

If you have the developer release of the RadControls For ASP.NET AJAX then simply overwrite the Telerik.Web.UI.dll assembly in the DNN bin folder after you install the trial modules with your registered version. Or use the same account as the one that has the RadControls license to download the developer version of the DNN modules as well (from the Purchases and Downloads > RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Downloads).

All the best,
