Hi Al,

I tried to reproduce the reported problem, but unfortunately to no avail. You can see my test in the attached video. Am I missing something?

Please, provide more information about your scenario and steps how to reproduce the problem. If possible, open a support ticket and send a sample working project that demonstrates the problem.

All the best,

Hi

I also have a problem with the RadEditor in an Iframe. We have a a page with two Iframes: The top Iframe is used for a banner in an administration screen, while the bottom iframe is used, either for the administrative pages, or viewing the website.

The website contain RadEditors. The Editors work fine.

However, when we load the administration screen, the top navigation bar disappears for a split second. Most of the time it reappears again, but sometimes, it doesn't.

By using a process of elimination, I've eliminated the banner or the administrative pages as the source of the problem, leaving only the web page. By systematically deleting code from the web page, I narrowed it down to the radeditor.  I think I should also mention that we had 3 rad editors on that page.

The problem started when we upgraded from RadControls 2007 Q3 to RadControls 2007 Q3 v2.

I noticed that the RadEditor uses Iframes. I would guess that this is a ".parent" issue in some of the javascript files of the Rad Editor.

Hi Hanno,

Could you please isolate the problem in a sample fully working project and send it to us for research? Once we are able to reproduce the problem on our side, we will be able to provide a solution or explanation what is causing the problem.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Gee, that's a tall order, the application is rather big. But, when I get time, I'll try to replicate the problem in a smaller test app.

Regards.
