[Solved] RadComboBox makefirstmatch doesn't work when using AjaxManager

I'm having an issue with setting the RadComboBox property "MakeFirstMatch" equal to "true" when using it with the RadAjaxManager.  I get the following exception:  "Conversion from string "" to type 'Integer' is not valid."

It works perfectly fine when "MakeFirstMatch" is set to false... am I trying to do the impossible?

I tried to reproduce the problem at our side, but to no avail. Attached, please find a small and running project on the matter. Download the files and give them a go.

What am I missing?

I'm using the RadAjaxManager and am not experiencing the issue you are....
