Has anybody figured out a way to use these with the RadCombobox? If not, is there some other alternative to get the same functionality?

Hello Ed Staffin,
RadComboBox does not support the cascading dropdowns extender as it is built to extend the DropDownControl. We have a similar example which you can check here.
