AMIRIGHT?
I mean shouldnt I be able to change axis, legend, plotarea, etc properties interactively on the chart control itself? why cant i selct the legend on a chart and see the properties in the IDEs Properties window like other .net controls? why do I have to use the wizard? It rewrites my markup anyway when I use it, i try to avoid it.
Is this on the plate for the Devs?

I want an interface which lets me change properties and see realtime what the changes are doing, even if it's an external app\dialog
Anything would be better than wizard+code

Hello Kelly,
Generally the chart control is a bit different from the rest of the ASP.NET controls as it is rendered as a image and not as a composition of different stand-alone visuals that can be clicked and interacted with. We will forward your feedback to our developers but unfortunately we have no immediate plans for the implementation of new design-time layer for the ASP.NET control at the moment.
