I"m following the instructions here:
ON the click event of my asp:button, I want it to throw an alert window. I am following the first example, as I am not using update panels at this point.
When I click the button, nothing is happening. Any thoughts?

The code that is used in the KB is working as expected, so at this point I cannot tell what the reason for the problem is. What I assume is that your setup differs somehow from the one used in the KB, but without having a better look over your scenario, I cannot say for sure.
Please open a support ticket and send me a small sample project with your implementation so I can check it.
