Can we make the background of top menu items transparent?

Hello,
You should be able to make the background of every menu item transparent by removing the background of the rmRootGroup for root items and rmGroup for submenu items. Can you describe what exactly are you trying to achieve (maybe post a design mockup or a screenshot) and we should be able to help you more.
