Sir,
Can we purchase one or two controls alone?
Can we integrate the new controls with the old versions of rad controls(2007)?
Can we use both the old ones & new ones in the same project?
Plz reply

Thanks & Regards,

Hello kollam2003,

Thank you for your inquiry.

Per our licensing policy, all individual controls are available only as part of the RadControls suite, i.e. they are not offered as standalone products.

If by old versions of RadControls you mean the classic RadControls for ASP.NET (rather than ASP.NET AJAX Q3 2007 version, for instance), then the answer to your question is yes, you can use RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX side-by-side with the classic RadControls for ASP.NET. We have designed and tested the ASP.NET AJAX controls to work with RadControls for ASP.NET and have not encountered any issues running them together in a wide variety of scenarios.

If "old versions of RadControls 2007" refer to the 2007 versions of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, and you would like to integrate them with 2008 versions of RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, then the answer to your inquiry is No. The RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX controls are all part of a single assembly and the .NET Framework does not allow different versions of the same assembly to co-exist in the same application. When moving from Q3 2007 to Q1 2008, for example, you will need to update all controls.

I hope the provided information was helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Lidiya
