Rad editor is inserting paragraph tags <p></p>

Hi Team,

I am facing an issue. The data entered using RAD editor from front end is saved along with <p></p> tags in database.
For eg. If i am saving-
Akanksha
Yadav

Then in DB its getting saved as:
<p>Akanksha</p> <p>Yadav</p>

Could you please update me if this is the expected behavior or if there's some workaround this???

Hiya Akanksha,

Looks like this is a known browser issue that has something to do with IE's rich text editing engine and is noted on the following:

RadEditor browser compatibility problems

I've seen a number of other posts in the forum about it and it seems like you have to do some custom script work to strip the tags out before saving it out anywhere.
