Hi,
I am looking for the Vista skin for the Rad Calendar. Its shown on the site, but the suite we got does not have this skin. Could you please send me the Vista skin for the Rad Calendar, if that is possible?
The version of my Calendar control is 2.1.1.0. I cannot currently upgarde to the Prometheus, so it would be great if you could provide me with the Vista skin.

Hi soumi,
It seems you're using an older version of the Calendar control, but all the Skins for the "Classic" RadControls version are available upon installation locally. for example:
C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for ASP.NET Q3 2007\NET2\RadControls\Calendar\Skins\Vista

It seems you're using an older version of the Calendar control, but all the Skins for the "Classic" RadControls version are available upon installation locally. for example:
C:\Program Files\Telerik\RadControls for ASP.NET Q3 2007\NET2\RadControls\Calendar\Skins\Vista

Thanks for replying back. I know I am using a version older, I have the Q1 2007, but I was hoping if there is some way I could get the Vista skin which is available in the next version, for the version I have without upgrading.

Hello Soumya,
We do not adapt new skins for old versions of our controls, I am sorry. You can upgrade your RadCalendar or try adapting the Vista skin for 2.1.1. If you stumble upon any problems when adapting, we are ready to help.

We do not adapt new skins for old versions of our controls, I am sorry. You can upgrade your RadCalendar or try adapting the Vista skin for 2.1.1. If you stumble upon any problems when adapting, we are ready to help.

We will provide a Vista skin for all our RadControls for Silverlight with the official release of the controls. This release will strictly follow the MS release schedule. You can expect it right after MS officially launch the Silverlight 2 plug-in.

As i mentioned in my other thread, we've decided on telerik SL controls for our pilot Derivatives Dashboard project for our vendor BNYM and we're making 1st drop to UAT tomorrow. We've the 2nd drop to UAT on Oct 25th. But, 1st week of Oct we've a meeting with the client Tech VP who's going to decide on SL / Flex.
If we can get the Vista Skin even if it's in beta, it'll be def. give a big boost to the Theme/Skin effect for the Dashboard app. Client is going to decide SL / Flex for their next 3 proj. also after this meeting. Kindly let us know whether it's possible to get the Vista Skin around 1st wk of Oct.

We're planning for a Vista kind of Desktop using SL & telerik controls, with our application specific functionality as icons' in the desktop.
On click of each icon, we're planning to show a RadWindow which'll dynamically load the respective feature (usercontrol) within it.
We're also planning for a sidebar kind of gadget which'll have few usercontrols in it. These UC's will get status updates from few async services.
For this SL Desktop app. we're in need of this Vista Skin.
This will be the pilot project for BNYM in SL, we wanted this app tobe more appealing/feature rich. Based on this app only BNYM is going to decide for 3/4 projects enterprisewide they want to go with SL / Flex, which are worth more than 10m. Hence, it's too critical for us as a vendor and for BNYM also.
If telerik vista skin is going to take time (not before Oct mid/end), kindly send us skins which can provide us the SL Desktop with Vista look and feel windows (aero kind).
