[Solved] Question about Purchasing RadControls Prometheus

I have recommended my company to purchase RadControls "Prometheus" When I browse to the link to buy it, it takes me to RadControls for ASP .NET.

I guess this is because RadControls "Prometheus" is a beta release.

When will RadControls "Prometheus" be available for purschase?

If my company buys the RadControls for ASP .NET now, will it be upgradable or upgraded to RadControls "Prometheus" when it is released?

I'm sure that a moderator will chime in soon with the "official answer," but the simple answer is that purchasing a basic license gets you a copy of the current version of both RadControls and RadControls Prometheus.  Purchasing a subscription license will give you free upgrades for a year, including the final version and all upgrades of RadControls Prometheus (now RadControls AJAX).  The final version should be release this month, probably in the next couple weeks.  Hope this helps.

I'm thinking of purchasing RadControls as well. I'm starting a new project and I assume that I should probably start using the Prometheus controls, and once they're released (hopefully later this month), just upgrade my controls from beta release to the final version?

I am doing the same thing, and I recommend it.  The Prometheus controls are very stable in my opinion, have a go live license, and will be much easier to upgrade to the final version (RadControls AJAX) than from the original RadControls.

Hello Mohit,

The official release of the RadControls Prometheus will be next week. After the release, the Prometheus controls  will become our primary ASP.NET product line and the classical RadControls for ASP.NET will no longer be officially offered for sale.
If you purchase a RadControls for ASP.NET License now(Developer or Subscription License) you will receive the RadControls Prometheus at no additional cost as soon as they are officially released next week.

We will release the new versions no later than Thursday of this week. It would be best to subscribe to the Annoncements Forum to get an update of the exact time when the release will be live.

Please, note that we give free upgrades to everyone who purchases the controls within 30 days from the official release. This means that if you purchase the suite today you will get the new version for free.
