I have installed RadControls_for_ASP.NET_AJAX_2008_2_723_dev and integrated the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX into Visual Studio 2005. When I try to use an Ajax control in an .ascx page, I recieve the error:
The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002) and The operation could not be completed. Invalid FORMATETC structure.
The Ajax tools from Q32007 worked fine. What is different and what is the problem with these new tools?

Hello Chris,
It seems this is a common error appearing with the Visual Studio which has nothing with the RadControls or any 3rd party vendor's tools. There are some blog posts on this subject here and here. You can also find our answers for example in this forum thread.
