There is some pretty weird stuff going on with selecting the paragraph style in the Q1 2009 release. It only seems to happen if only one line of text is in the Editor.

In IE8 (compatibility mode and standard), selecting paragrah style Heading1 on the first and only line of the text editor causes the Design view to blank out. You can still switch to HTML view, but moving back to Design view gives this error:

In FF, doing the same action causes a slightly different problem. Here, the design view does not blank, but you cannot add text after the Heading (you can still alter the Heading text though).

Very strange!

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Nick.

Hi Nick,

Thank you for reporting this problem.

I verified it and logged in our bug tracking system for fixing. Unfortunately, we will not have enough time to solve it for the upcoming SP1 release scheduled for the end of this business week because our ToDo is pretty much set, but we will do our best to fix it for the next SP2 release.

Please, excuse us for the temporary inconvenience. As a small note of gratitude for your bug report, I updated your Telerik points.

Kind regards,
Rumen
