Properties, styles and Image Editor?

Hi Telerik,

Think the new editor looks good and loads very fast - nice! But i have a few questions:

Is the 'Properties Inspector' not a implemented in the Prometheus version?

I a former editor (not last version either) i also believe, that it was possible to add style (not predefined) to a single cell (like 'padding-top:10px') from within the cell properties editor. Why has this been removed?

I really hope, that the Image Editing control will be a released in Q3, s it's the most requested feature by all my clients! Will it?

Hello Horsted,

The properties inspector module is not yet available in the 'Prometheus' RadEditor. The modules from the old editor will be added in a later stage. You can rest assured that the Q3 release will have them.

What about my other two questions:

Hi Horsted,

1. Yes, RadEditor 7.x offers the ability to apply a style from the Css Class dropdown placed in the Cell Properties dialog. This feature is not yet implemented in the new RadEditor "Prometheus"  beta, but it is in our ToDo list for the upcoming versions.
2. Thank you for your feature request about Image Editing dialog. There is a possibility to implement such a control until the end of the year, but this will be possible after we port the missing features of the ASP.NET editor in the new one.

Hi again,

Regarding the Cell Properties dialog there used to be another option (see http://img520.imageshack.us/my.php?image=editorcellstylesvl1.gif) which has bee removed from both the Prometheus and regular version. Why is that?

The Image Editor control that I'm talking about is the new control (crop, resize etc.) which was supposed to be releashed in Q2, but was delayed. Will it be in Q3?

Hi Horsted,

Thank you for the screenshot! The requested cell properties style dropdown was removed in version 5.x of RadEditor, because we planned to provide a Style builder dialog in the editor. We will consider your feature request and hopefully it will be implemented in one of the subsequent RadEditor "Prometheus" versions.

Regarding the Image Editing control: As I already wrote our developers will try to implement such dialog until the end of the year.
