Hi,

Before FF3 I couldn't use the copy/paste functionality of the toolbar, and now after intalling the newest version I cannot use copy/paste, numbering and bullets, so it seems that instead of fixing things with FF3 I got more problems.. Is this happening for everyone?

 I'd appreciate some help, thanks!

Hi Pablo,

Basically, it is not possible to programmatically paste content in Firefox, because the browser itself does not offer an onpaste event. You can find more information on the topic in the following Mozilla article: Setting Prefs for the Mozilla Rich Text Editing Demo.

Nevertheless, I have good news that the guys from Mozilla have provided an onpaste event in the new Firefox 3 and there are good changes to control the pasted content in FF 3.0 as well and to make the Cut, Copy and Paste buttons fully functional. We need further research and time, but the chances are good that it will be possible to implement this functionality.

In regards to the bullets and ordered lists creation mechanism: it is fully working in Firefox 3 and you can see my test in the attached video. Am I missing something? Are you able to reproduce the reported problem using the default example of RadEditor?

Sincerely,
Rumen

Thanks for your answer!

I cannot reproduce the error with your example.. but what is obvious is that the installation of ff3 had something to do with it. Any suggestion on how could I tackle this problem? I got  the latest version of the editor a few months ago maybe there is a newer one.

Cheers!

Hi Pablo,

Yes, there is a new Q2 2008 "Futures" build of Telerik.Web.UI.dll  which is available for download in your Client.Net account. Please, upgrade your project and see whether you still experience this problem on your PC. You can also test the latest editor on other computers.

Best regards,
