Hello Ray,

The RadComboBoxes are loosing their styles.

Is there AJAX on the page? Which version of Telerik.Web.UI are you using? Can you try attaching the screenshot again as now it is missing?

Kind regards,
Simon

Hi Simon,

My version of Telerik.Web.UI  is 2010.2.929.35.
We used AjaxPanel in our page.

By the way, there is radDatePicker also doesn't work properly. I attached it as telerikcontrollosingstyle_raddatepicker.png

Thanks,

Ray

Hello,

I am working with Ray, so I will add a couple more information.  We have noticed this with the 2009 Q1 Telerik controls before, but it had always happened on RadTabStrip and it seems to only happen in expanded RadGrid rows.  We have upgraded recently to the version that Ray provided you, and now it is happening a lot more frequently and extends to RadDatePicker and RadComboBox, on top of RadTabStrips which still misses it styles sometimes.

This problem does not seem to happen when running the application locally, only after deployed to the server as an extended web application in SharePoint.  The problem also occurs intermittently, simply refreshing the page does not make it go away, you have to load another page, then come back to the same page, and the style may come back after that.

We have deployed the application to the clients and this annoys them to no end...the users do not understand why they have to go out of the page and come back in.  It does not happen so frequently in older versions and you could still click on the text links to go to the tab so it was not such a big problem, but when RadCombobox lose its style the user cannot click on it anymore.  All we did was upgrade.  Please help.

I can provide you with the web.config sections that we added in the SharePoint extended web application for Telerik controls and enabling Ajax if you need them.

Thank you,

Juno

Hello guys,

Thank you for the additional info about the issue you are experiencing.

Could you also let me know whether the issue manifest when AJAX is stopped? Additionally, could you please log the traffic of those 'broken' requests with FiddlerCap and provide a link to the logs or use FireBug (in Firefox) and observe the CSS requests when the skins fail to load and provide me with screenshots depicting the details?

Finally, to make sure this is a valid issue, could you just try upgrading to the latest release of Telerik.Web.UI and test whether the issue exists in the normal circumstances?

Best wishes,
Simon
