Hi, I'm sure I have followed the instructions in the documentation for upgrading but the following is happening:

The website works fine if I put the new dll files into the bin folder, however if I set a break point and run in debug mode, Visual Studio seems to replace the new dlls with the old ones and I lose all new skins etc. Why is this happening? I have replaced the dll's, cleared the GAC and added the new dll refs to the GAC but this does not seem to make any difference. The same happens if I do a build.

Any ideas? I'm obviously missing something..

Thanks,
Matt

Hello Matt,

Do you have a .refresh file in your project? If so, please try to delete it and then add the assemblies to your bin folder again. For your convenience I attached a screenshot illustrating the mentioned file.
