Problem keeping sort arrows

I'm keeping the sort order of the grid in the session and it maintains fine when you leave the page and come back. However, I cannot find anywhere that will let me manipulate the sort arrows, to re-indicate which column is being sorted.


How can I manipulate these arrows in code-behind?
