[Solved] Populate from DB vs. XML

Hi there,
A couple of questions if I may:

1. Which is faster to accomplish: Populate a RadCombo/RadTree from a DataTable that fetches data from DB or Populate form an XML file with same data?
2. If I wish to shift population of the above controls to client-side, is there a way to pass source DataTable to client (or its reference) after being filled in code-behind? Same question applies to XML file.
