OnClientItemClick event for RadComboBox

How can I detect when the user selects a combo box item by clicking on it ?
there doesn't seem to be a OnClientItemClick event in RadComboBox

As of Q2 2011, RadComboBox introduces simple checkbox support.
CheckBox Support
and the events fired on checking an item.

• OnClientItemChecking - occurs when a particular item is about to be checked. This event could be canceled.
• OnClientItemChecked - occurs when a particular item is checked.
