Hello All,
Anyone else facing this problem.
2008.1.415.35 build
I cant see the Toolbox items in VS2008 (for both the 20 and 35 framework)
When i run the tool it goes through fine but dosent do any thing
When i try to install it manually i get
"There was an error loading types from assembly 'C:\program files\telerik\RadControls for ASPNET AJAX Q1 2008\Bin35\Telerik.web.ui.dll'
could not load file or assembly for 'System.web, version=2.0.0.0
....
Using vista 32 bit business edition.
It works fine in win2003 server with vs2008
The prev version Prometheus worked fine on vista till this morning :(

Hello,
Could you please send us the exact error message you got? Some screen-shots will be of help, too.
Otherwise, we are not exactly sure what might be causing the problem. Note that the System.Web is a very important assembly for .NET. Since our toolbox installation couldn't find it, maybe your .net framework is corrupted.

Figured out
The System.Web.Dll (2.0.0.0) was missing from my gac (so i copied one over from my win2003 machine framework 2.0... folder to my vista machine and registerd it using gacutil and re-ran the registartion tool and all works fine.
(I should have tried this one first, i unnecessarily uninstalled telerik and vs2008 :))
but it seems odd how it was missing in the first place and why should telerik 35 dll care about a system.web.dll 2.0 that too in a vista with visual studio 2008
