Hi,

I use a lot of RadEditor controls in a SharePoint WCM website. In these controls I link to a customized tools' file using the "ToolsFile" property of the RadHtmlField control. In this tools file I use a CssFiles tag to bind to a css file containing all my customized css classes to use.
During developpement's stage I used a trial version of RadEditor version 5.2.0.0, everything was fine until I update to the 5.3.2.0 commercial version to release my project. My controls bind to a lot of Css Classes, on the trial version a scrollbar appears in the Class dropdown menu, but now it doesn't and thus I can't see all the css class...

Is this a bug ? Or do I forgot something during the upgrade process ?

Best regards,

Hi Edgar,

The firs thing that I am suggesting you to do is to upgrade to the latest 5.4.0 version of RadEditor for MOSS, which we released last week. It is based on the latest version of RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX 2009.1.2004. There are new MOSS related functionalities included in it, such as predefined table format (similar to default MOSS editor) in the table properties dialog. Some IE8 related problems are fixed as well.

In the following help article you can find information on upgrading to a newer version of RadEditor for MOSS http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/upgrade_to_a_newer_version_of_radeditor_for_moss.html .

In addition please make sure that you transfer the customizations that you have made in the configuration files (ConfigFile.xml, ListConfigFile.xml, ToolsFile.xml, ListToolsFile.xml). When you upgrade, the configuration files will be in the \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\wpresources\RadEditorSharePoint\5.4.0.0__1f131a624888eeed\Resources folder.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,
