Good Afternoon,
I have been trying for hours and to no avail in regards to using the ajax library panel animation.  My complete goal is to have a row click and show the edit form(Which works like a dream) but would like to wrap the edit form in a panel(pretty easy), but when the row is click and shown, use the ajax animation to show the form by having it grow, like the PanelBar does.  I hope this makes sense.  All My grid is inside of an update panel FYI.....

Could any of you guide me in the proper directions.

Thanks in advance.
Joshua

Hi Joshua,

For your convenience I prepared a sample project which illustrates how to use CollapsiblePanel extender to show detail information inside detail template of RadGrid for ASP.NET AJAX and UpdatePanelAnimationExtender to include animation effect upon updating/inserting grid records.

Note that the actual update/insert action is not included in the sample, however you can extend it further to support data editing as well.

Best regards,

Hey i want to do the same but when i am running this sample application of urs, its giving me an error like "Could not load file or assembly Telerik.Web.Design". What should i do for it?
I need to show a fade animation when a row gets out of edit mode, but animation box area would be just as sized as the editing area. The animation would be like a simple box but fades in with some text in it. Thats it.......
