[Solved] Navigation to specific date

Is there any way to navigate from month view to a specific day (in DayView) by clicking on the number in the upper left corner of the day cell?  I don't think there is and ended up writing some javascript to attach click events and calculating the offsets. 

Same thing goes for the week view, but in this case by clicking on the day in the header I woud like to navigate to that day in DayView. 

If it is not currently on the list of requested features I think it would be tremendously valuable in the finished product.  (I modeled what I did after Outlook 2007)

RadScheduler doesn't not have the necessary events needed to accomplish this functionality. We will, however, consider your inquiry for future development of the control.

I hope you can indeed add this to the Q1 release.

Another feature I would like to request is that you can navigate to a specific date/week/month, using a datepicker. I hope this is possible.

Hi Martin,

You can navigate to a specific date using the the SelectedDate and SelectedView properties of RadScheduler. Here is an example:

protected void RadDatePicker1_SelectedDateChanged(object sender, Telerik.Web.UI.Calendar.SelectedDateChangedEventArgs e)
    {
        RadScheduler1.SelectedDate = (DateTime) e.NewDate;
        RadScheduler1.SelectedView = SchedulerViewType.DayView;
    }

Hi Peter,

Yes, I use that right now as well. However it would be nice too see a datepicker included in the scheduler itself, as currently you can browse through dates using only the arrows, which is unusable if you need to go 20 days further.

Adding a seperate datepicker seems redundant, and also gives some problems in that you need to set the datepicker selecteddate too when navigating using the scheduler arrows.

Anyway, I hope you can include it.

Unfortunately, we were not able to implement this feature in time for the Q1 release. We have decided to postpone it for the Q2 release instead. We are confident that we will be able to implement it in this release cycle.
