Seems like the get_popupElement is missing in the api documentation.
The get_element function returnes an input element which is not so obvious.
Since the get_element function doesn't return what I was expected the get_popupElement comes handy.

In general this method returns the popup element for the corresponding control. I will include it in the documentation for the next service pack.
