[Solved] Migration from RadEditor Classic to RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX - Backward compatibility

Hi there,

We are planning a migration to ASP.NET AJAX. I understand from the documentation that the Custom Colors have been removed. We use this functionally on a major scale. Is there a hack around it?

Also are there any known differences in how the HTML is rendered in view mode? So if we were to migrate, do we have to worry about some of our content looking out of place?

Hi Nima,

Up to the questions:

1. You can use the Add method of the Colors collection of RadEditor to add new colors to the color pickers pallets. You can write your own mechanism to add new colors using this collection.
2. RadEditor 7.3.3 uses the same rendering mechanism like RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX. You can find more information how to customize the content appearance in the content area in the following help articles:

   Setting Editor Background And Color
   
   Our suggestion is to create a sample project with RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX and test it before migrating to it.
