Hi,

My company have recently bought the Telerik suite and we are trying to convert our old menu to use the Telerik menu. The old menu has top level items which when clicked show a list of child items (the children do not disappear until you click another top level item), you then click on the required child item to go to a page within the system, the child you clicked then becomes highlighted so you can see which page you are on. So far I have only managed to use the Telerik menu to create a menu where by the child items disappear after a few seconds.

The desired effect I wish to get is similar to the Telerik web site's vertical menu. Can you please tell me how I can achieve this?

Many Thanks

Hi Mike Eaton,

You can check the RadTabStrip for ASP.NET AJAX.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick response unfortunatly I think you may have misunderstood my question, I am trying to create a menu similar to the vertical one on http://www.telerik.com/products/aspnet-ajax/overview.aspx

This menu has top level items of:
Rad Controls for ASP.NET AJAX
RadControls for WinFormsOverview
Reporting
RadControls in DNN
SharePoint 2007 OverviewIntegration GuideRadEditor etc.

and when you click on one, for example Rad Controls for ASP.NET AJAX you get a sub menu with child items such as:
Oveview
Included Controls
What's New

Then after clicking one of these children you are taken to the appropriate page.

Is this possible to do with the Telerik Menu control?

Many Thanks

Hello Mike Eaton,

In this case you can check the RadPanelBar online examples.

Thank you very much, the RadPanelBar seems to be what I was looking for.
