Hello,

Hope someone can help.  I have a two level grid with styles for item, alt item, select item and header on both levels (except select on inner level).  When I expand an inner grid and select an item on the inner grid, the previously selected item on the outer grid loses its style class according to the IE Debug Toolbar.  The resulting row visual is very ugly.

Does anyone know how to maintain the style class on the unselected row from the upper level grid.?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

Please provide the following additional information:

+ RadGrid (RadControls) version
+ are you setting ItemStyle, AlternatingItemStyle, etc., declaratively or programmatically?
+ are you selecting the first item on the server or on the client?

Thanks

Best wishes,

Hi Dimo,

This control is the asp.net grid control (not ajax, sorry i posted it in the wrong topic area).  Version is 4.5.2.0.

Styles are set in markup.

Items are selected by client.

I was reading there was a hotfix for some style issue 6/2007 and my dll is 3/2007.  Could this be related?

Thanks,

John

Hi John,

Please try setting ApplyStylesOnClient="true" in the RadGrid's ClientSettings. Does this help?
