Hi,

I have RADEditor for MOSS 2007 with 2 languages en-CA and fr-CA. I want to localize the spellcheck to the local language I am in. No if I am in the French or English page and I click on the SpellCheck, I get a dropdown menu to pick th language. I want to eliminate this, so the editor knows what language I am in and it will spellcheck it without asking the language.
It was working before until I upgraded to 5.2.2.0.

Any suggestions?

Hi Mike,

The editor's dropdown buttons are designed to work with already selected values. However, when using the button for the first time you need to first select the value to be applied - in your case select the spellchecking language. Once the value is selected, you can use the button(without setting the Language every time), by clicking on the icon, or preselect the value(Language) to be applied from the arrow. Due to this, the desired behavior cannot be achieved.

For convenience, I prepared a sample video that demonstrate how the dropdown buttons work.

Sincerely,
