LoadOnDemand and Disappearing Item

Hello,

I've noticed when I am using the load on demand feature and a required field validators on my form, if the validator validator fails for some other control on my form, the selected item in the combobox disappears.

I'm not able to replicate this issue, please find attached my test page. What is different in your case?

The only thing I can think of that is different is that i use a modal dialog as well.
