Hello everybody,

I'm wondering if I need to be connected to internet to develop using telerik products or I can work also offline.

Buying one license for developer it's possible to install it on two pc, my desktop workstation and laptop (obviously not at the same time), as I often have to move.

Best regards,

MG

Hi Marco,

It is indeed possible to develop using the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX when you are offline. The controls are integrated into the Visual Studio toolbox and can be used in your projects by simply dragging the controls onto a web form. Alternatively, you can add the Telerik.Web.UI.dll assembly to your project's bin folder and then add the controls manually. Either way, an internet connection is only necessary when you initially download the controls, and not when you start development.

The license for the controls is per developer, and not per machine. So if you have bought a license for yourself to use, you are welcome to install it on a laptop and desktop as long as you are the only developer using the controls.

I hope this clears things up for you.

Regards,
