Today I upgraded to the latest KendoUI release, 2023 R3 Service Pack 1.

I discovered that the kendo directives for AngularJS have been completely removed.

This page says that Kendo Angular JS has said that it is 'not supported', but there has been no warning of it's complete removal.

What has happened?

We have a provider which deliver code. He owns its own KendoUI License.
Then, we build code using Jenkins and deploy/run it to production.

There is no dev, everything is automatic. Do we need to buy one license just for building the application ? (provider must not build it for us)

Now I need to add a combo box to a page in it, and convinced client to use telerik combo box for it, but I am still unable to decide which one I need to download to avoid dependency on jQuery or other frameworks.
