Hi,

We plan to use Kendo UI Professional + Bootstrap in our new project. We played a bit with Kendo UI Core before purchasing Kendo UI Professional and are generally happy with Kendo widgets, themes and quite semless integration with Bootstrap. But one thing is not so clear: the situation with Bootstrap's form-control class. If we apply this class to Kendo widget and use the hint described in Kendo documentation (http://docs.telerik.com/kendo-ui/using-kendo-with-twitter-bootstrap#using-the-form-control-bootstrap-css-class-with-kendo-ui-widgets), then we solve the problem with padding and width, but some visual Bootstrap effects are also applied simultaneously, which is not so good in case if we use the Kendo theme different from Bootstrap one. The immediate idea is: why not to implement k-form-control class, which would apply all the necessary Bootstrap form-related formatting to Kendo widget (http://getbootstrap.com/css/#forms), but will not spoil the chosen Kendo visual theme things?

Best regards,

Alexey

Hi Alexey,

You could apply additional classes as well as styles to Kendo UI widgets via custom JavaScript / CSS (documentation link). For your convenience here is a basic example - please check it and let me know if this fits the current requirements.
