I see that:

"Pure client-side edit/insert operations are not supported in the Q1 2008 release of RadControls for ASP.NET/RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. We will consider including such features for the upcoming versions of the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX suite."

Will You add this functionality in upcoming ASP.NET AJAX controls?

Indeed, this functionality is in our ToDo list, and although I cannot commit to a definite time frame, as to when it will be available, we will surely consider it for one of the upcoming versions of the control.
