I've just visited a web site of mine on a PC that doesn't have Flash installed. The site doesn't use Flash and has no Flash file anywhere on the site.

However, I get the yellow bar IE warning that the site wants to install Flash. Scanning through the site looking for files that contain the word Flash, I see that Telerik.Web.UI.dll has several hundred references to Flash. Would this be causing the warning message to appear?

The DLL file version is 2008.2.723.35

Hi Simon,

RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX do not use Adobe's Flash technology. Yes, you might see references to the word 'Flash' as we have code that helps the controls to work with Flash enabled pages (i.e. RadMenu needs to overlay Flash objects). Still, no Flash objects are used in our controls.

Could you please provide an URL so we can research the case and provide a solution? Alternatively, you can open a support ticket with details on the matter.

Thanks,
Paul
