I received an error that administrator rights are needed to run the VSE install.
I had to start a commandprompt as administrator and run the .msi from there.

Indeed you are right and we must admit this is a problem within the current version of the installer. We have already escalated this issue to our developers. Sorry for the temporary inconvenience. We have updated your Telerik points for the report.
