I have a databound treeview filled with 48000 nodes and am experiencing unresponsiveness with IE8. After the treeview loads in IE8, I can use the browser's scroll bar to scroll from top to bottom of the treeview contents. But, If I move the mouse pointer off of the scroll bar button and onto the webpage IE8 immediately becomes unresponsive for 20 to 30 seconds. Also, anytime the mouse pointer is moved from the browser window and back onto the browser, IE8 becomes unresponsive for 20 to 30 seconds. No data appears to be downloading during this non-responsive time.

I do not experience this problem in Firefox 3.0.10.

Hello Van,

We don't recommend loading so many nodes at the same time. This generates lots of html output and most browsers cannot handle the processing required. Please check RadTreeView's load on demand support and use it instead.

Thanks
