I have a panel bar which is:

<telerik:RadPanelBar ID="RadPanelBar1" runat="server" Width="219px" ExpandMode="SingleExpandedItem" OnClientItemExpand="LeftNavAndFilters_RadPanelItemExpand" CollapseAnimation-Duration="200" CollapseDelay="300">
<CollapseAnimation Duration="200"></CollapseAnimation>
    <Items>
        <telerik:RadPanelItem runat="server" Text="General" Value="general">
        </telerik:RadPanelItem>
        <telerik:RadPanelItem runat="server" Text="Subject" Value="subject">
            <Items>
                <telerik:RadPanelItem runat="server">
                    <ItemTemplate>
                        <asp:ListBox name="m_selSubject" ID="m_selSubject" CssClass="DropDownListNavAcc" runat="server" />
                    </ItemTemplate>
                </telerik:RadPanelItem>
        </telerik:RadPanelItem>
</telerik:RadPanelBar>

I'm trying to make the General bar clickable - no client events are fired. Is it because there are no child items?
Anyway what is the workaround if there is one?

Thank you!

Hi Vasyl,

Attach " OnClientItemClicked " event in order to fire the event when clicking the panel item.

ASPX:

<telerik:RadPanelBar ID="RadPanelBar1" runat="server" Width="219px" OnClientItemClicked="OnClientItemClicked" ExpandMode="SingleExpandedItem"
     CollapseAnimation-Duration="200"
    . . .
</telerik:RadPanelBar>

JavaScript:

<script type="text/javascript"
function OnClientItemClicked(sender, args)
    alert(args.get_item().get_text());
</script>
