I am putting months on my x-axis and am trying to step month to month. I tried putting step = 30 and 31, but over a period of years (with scrolling) it becomes off. Is there a special step feature for months, or a way to make it variable?

Unfortunately, there is no way to automatically configure variable X axis LabelStep or special "months step". In this case you will have to loop through the X axis item labels and hide all of them except for the first label of each new month. In case AutoScale is set to true (the default value) you can do this in the BeforeLayout event handler, at this moment the automatically created labels are available for modifications.
